We have two Practice Nurses and a Health Care Assistant who are fully trained to deliver a range of medical services. They can be seen during normal surgery hours – by appointment where possible – and at specific clinics.
Simon Royal is the Practice Manager and he would be happy to help you with any queries or problems you may have about the administrative or non-medical aspects of your health care. He is responsible for the day to day running of the practice and is available to discuss any suggestions or complaints. He can be contacted by phone on 01282 731395 or emailed on email@example.com
We have nine administrative staff including an Office Manager, Receptionists, Secretary, Clerical Officers and Notes Summariser.
All staff have undergone Care Navigation training and are ready to help you at any time. They may need to ask you for further details when you telephone for medical advice. – This is to ensure we can assist you as speedily as possible.
All staff are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as a GP.
Attached to the practice, we have midwifery staff whom run a clinic every Tuesday. The District Nurses can be contacted on Tel. 644465 – they have an answerphone and messages are picked up daily.
The Health Visitors can be contacted on Tel. 644511 and as with the District Nurses, they have an answerphone and messages are picked up daily.
Counsellor: We have counsellor's from Burnley's Well Women Centre that run Low Level Mental Health clinics from the surgery weekly for Both Men and Women and appointments are made via GP referral. Please be aware on occasion for best treatment you may be asked to attend a clinic at the Well women centre in Burnley Town Centre.
